This month’s ‘staff highlight’ focuses on Dean Finegold, Account Manager at Just Search. The bulk of Dean’s work involves working with SEO campaign managers on the communication and delivery of campaigns and attending meeting with clients for strategy reviews. We caught up with the Dean to talk employment history, biggest achievements at Just Search so far and his commitment to bizarre charity missions, which will include an impending participation in Solent Coast Challenge!
How long have you worked at Just Search?
I started in April 2011, so over 2 years now – moved with the times in that I have gone from being based downstairs, upstairs, downstairs and back upstairs, as well as changing desk location more times than I care to remember, a result of the ever changing world of digital marketing…
Have you always worked in digital marketing?
I worked in recruitment before going onto work for a sports management company – it was there that I took my first steps into digital marketing, search engine optimisation and content management systems.
What has been your greatest achievement at Just Search so far?
I have developed some amazing client relationships and continued to increase my knowledge in the digital marketing industry by working with some brilliant SEO campaign managers.
How do you feel about Just Search moving towards a more ‘complete agency’ model?
From a personal point of view I totally embrace it. Moving to a complete agency means my clients benefit from an end to end solution to their digital marketing strategy and we get to work on a broader scale than just SEO. Clients of mine now have active PPC, social media and design/development campaigns with Just Search, which reinforce the successful working relationships we enjoy.
When you’re not at work, what do you like doing?
I enjoy my working life and social life in equal measures so in my spare time I tend to enjoy good food (and drink) and following Leyton Orient (for my sins). Charity work is extremely important to me and you will often find me completing some crazy fundraising mission for one of the many charities I am associated to.
